Out Saturday
Bane (hip) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Spurs.
Análise
Bane and Ja Morant (shoulder) have both been downgraded to out for the second half of this back-to-back set, but Luke Kennard (back) will be available. Bane should return to action Monday versus Atlanta, while Kennard, Jaylen Wells, John Konchar and Scotty Pippen will handle increased roles Saturday.

Bane chipped in 24 points (9-17 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and one steal across 35 minutes during Friday's 114-113 loss to New York.
Análise
Bane stuffed the stat sheet in the loss, posting his seventh double-double through 48 regular-season appearances. However, the sharpshooter struggled from beyond the arc, and over his last five outings, he has shot only 25.8 percent from downtown. The 26-year-old guard has averaged 19.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.6 three-pointers and 1.2 steals across 36.4 minutes per contest in that five-game span.

Left groin soreness is a new issue for Bane, who hasn't sat out since the Feb. 5 win over the Raptors. The Grizzlies could have the star guard go through pregame warmups Friday before deciding on his status. If Bane cannot suit up against New York, Luke Kennard stands out as the most likely candidate to step into Memphis' starting lineup.

Bane supplied 25 points (8-15 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, nine assists and two steals across 43 minutes during Tuesday's 151-148 overtime victory over the Suns.

This was Bane's fourth game of the campaign with at least nine dimes. He was coming off a dud with seven points against Cleveland on Sunday, but's been solid in eight February games for the most part. In that span, he put up averages of 19.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.5 three-pointers.

Poor shooting night Sunday
Bane provided seven points (2-13 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, eight assists, one block and one steal over 35 minutes during Sunday's 129-123 loss to the Cavaliers.
Análise
It was poor night shooting the ball by Bane, but he was still able to fill the box score and dish out eight assists. Despite Sunday's hiccup, the star guard is still averaging 19.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.1 three-pointers in 35.1 minutes over his last eight outings. Bane has hit the 20-point plateau in six of these contests, so he should be able to bounce back in the scoring department before long.
