Wednesday's game is the front end of a back-to-back set, so presumably, Garland will be ready for Thursday's game against Atlanta. Garland has made 13 appearances in January so far, averaging 24.7 points, 7.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 3.1 three-pointers in 31.4 minutes. Ty Jerome could step into a larger role with Garland on the shelf for Wednesday.

Leads way offensively in victory
Garland posted 22 points (8-19 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and seven assists in 31 minutes during Monday's 110-91 win over Detroit.
Análise
Garland lifted Cleveland on the offensive end of the floor Monday, leading all players in scoring, threes made and assists to go along with a handful of rebounds in a well-rounded performance. Garland has been hot from deep as of late, connecting on three or more threes in six straight contests while pairing it with at least 20 points in five of those outings.

Leads near-comeback effort
Garland registered 39 points (14-22 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 7-7 FT), three rebounds and nine assists in 36 minutes during Saturday's 135-131 loss to the Rockets.

Garland was the leading scorer for both teams Saturday, with 27 of his 39 points coming in the second half. His two free throws at the 1:51 mark of the fourth quarter tied the game at 124, but Houston proceeded to go on a 10-2 run to extend the Cavaliers' losing streak to three games. Garland has scored at least 20 points and dished five assists in eight of his last nine outings, and he'll look to help get the Cavs back to their winning ways Monday against the Pistons.

Another excellent performance
Garland ended Friday's 132-129 loss to Philadelphia with 26 points (10-21 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, seven assists and one steal in 32 minutes.
Análise
While Garland took a backseat in the scoring department to Donovan Mitchell's 37-point display Friday, he was still able to match his backcourt mate with seven assists to lead the Cavaliers. Garland appears to be on pace for his second career All-Star selection in 2024-25, as he's excelled with averages of 25.1 points, 7.1 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 3.1 threes while shooting 42.4 percent from deep over his last nine games amid a rock-solid season as Cleveland's floor general.
