Will be re-evaluated in one week
Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez said Monday that Johnson (ankle) will be re-evaluated at some point next week before the team updates his status, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Análise
Johnson will miss a third straight game Monday versus the Kings, and since he's not on track to have his ankle checked out until next week, he can be ruled out for games Wednesday in Charlotte and Saturday in Houston. The 28-year-old forward could be a sought-after commodity leading up to the Feb. 6 trade deadline, and it wouldn't be surprising if the Nets held him out until then to avoid an aggravation of the ankle injury that could jeopardize any potential deal. For whatever length of time Johnson is sidelined, Jalen Wilson, Ziaire Williams and Tyrese Martin will all be candidates to take on extra minutes.

Out for Saturday
Coach Jordi Fernandez said Friday that Johnson (ankle) will not play in Saturday's matchup against the Heat and will be re-evaluated sometime next week, Sharif Phillips-Keaton of USA Today reports.
Análise
Johnson will miss his second consecutive contest due to the right ankle sprain, and it wouldn't be surprising if he also misses Monday's game against the Kings at the very least as the club works him back to form. With the 28-year-old sidelined, Jalen Wilson, Tyrese Martin and Tosan Evbuomwan are all candidates for an uptick in playing time.

Won't play Wednesday
Johnson (ankle) will not play Wednesday against the Suns.
Análise
Johnson was previously listed as doubtful due to an ankle sprain. With Ben Simmons (illness) and D'Angelo Russell (rest) both sidelined, the Nets will need multiple players to step up as the team will have a total of nine inactive players.

Doubtful for Wednesday
Johnson is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Suns with a right ankle sprain, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Análise
Johnson picked up the injury during Tuesday's 99-95 loss to the Knicks, but he was able to finish the game. However, it's not a surprise to see the Nets leaning toward exercising caution by holding Johnson out for the second leg of this back-to-back set. Brooklyn will be shorthanded Wednesday, as six players have already been ruled out, while Johnson and Ben Simmons (illness) are listed as questionable.

May be dealing with injury
Johnson appeared to suffer an injury at some point during Tuesday's 99-95 loss to the Knicks, though he was able to finish out the game while tallying 16 points (6-20 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 35 minutes, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Análise
Slater notes that Johnson seemed to "tweak something" on a drive early in the game, and while the forward wasn't forced out of the contest due to injury at any point, he was walking gingerly in the locker room following the contest. Johnson had previously missed seven of the Nets' first 10 games of January due to a right ankle sprain, so it's possible he may have tweaked the same ankle. Even if Johnson is dealing with only a minor injury scare, he still looks like a strong candidate to be held out for maintenance purposes in the second leg of a back-to-back set Wednesday versus the Suns. Fantasy managers will want to keep close tabs on Johnson's status leading up to the 7:30 p.m. ET opening tip.
