Lands on injured list
The Cardinals placed Scott on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a left ankle sprain, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Scott suffered the injury during Saturday's 12-8 loss to the Yankees and underwent an MRI, which showed that he's clear of any structural issues, per John Denton of MLB.com. Scott injured his ankle while trying to rob a home run by Aaron Judge in the third inning of Saturday's 12-8 loss to the Yankees. He stayed in the game but was pinch hit for in the bottom of the sixth. Garrett Hampson replaced Scott in center field. With the Cardinals' bench already severely depleted by day-to-day injuries to Brendan Donovan (foot) and Willson Contreras (foot), manager Oli Marmol said the team will need to make a roster move ahead of Sunday's series finale against New York if Scott is unable to play.

Lifted due to ankle injury
Scott exited Saturday's game against the Yankees in the sixth inning with an ankle injury, John Denton of MLB.com reports.
Análise
Scott was initially injured while trying to rob an Aaron Judge home run in the top of the third inning and was eventually lifted in favor of Garrett Hampson in the bottom of the sixth frame. Prior to exiting, Scott went 1-for-2 at the plate with an RBI single and one run scored.
