On bench for second time in series
Peters is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.
Análise
The left-handed hitter's absence isn't surprising against southpaw Jeffrey Springs, but Peters also hit the bench for a matchup against righty Aaron Civale on Friday. Peters and his underwhelming .209/.277/.233 slash line through 47 plate appearances might have to settle for a part-time role in the Chicago outfield with Everson Pereira (.969 OPS in 36 plate appearances) handily outproducing him.

Not in Friday's lineup
Peters is not in the White Sox's starting lineup against the Athletics on Friday.
Análise
This marks Peters' second consecutive absence from the starting lineup, with the White Sox starting Sam Antonacci, Luisangel Acuna and Everson Pereira in the outfield from left to right. Over his last 10 games since April 4, Peters has gone 2-for-22 (.091) with one walk and six strikeouts.

Heading to bench Thursday
Peters is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Rays.
Análise
The left-handed-hitting Peters is on the bench for the third time in four games, with each of his absences coming against southpaws. The White Sox could continue to deploy him as a platoon player in the outfield until Austin Hays (hamstring) returns from the injured list, at which point Peters could see his opportunities to start against right-handed pitching dry up.
