Perez connected for only his second long ball of the month and his first since Aug. 1 on Saturday. The 36-year-old extended his hitting streak to a modest four games and has picked up at least one base knock in six of his last seven games. Perez notched his first three-hit effort of the second half, driving in a run on a single in the fourth inning. The veteran hasn't hit for much power recently, but he's batting .250 with 11 RBI through 16 August contests.
