Alonso got the Orioles on the board early with an RBI single in the first inning before giving Baltimore the lead for good with a two-run homer off Freddy Peralta in the fifth. It was the 30th home run of the season for Alonso, who has reached that mark in six consecutive years and seven times in eight major-league seasons, the exception being the 2020 campaign, when he clubbed 16 homers across 57 regular-season games.
