Back in lineup
Lowe (oblique) will start in right field and bat fifth in Wednesday's game versus the Yankees.
Análise
Lowe has been held out of the previous three contests due to right oblique tightness, but he's feeling much better and will give it a go in Wednesday's series finale. The outfielder will enter play Wednesday slashing just .174/.220/.261so far in August.

Expects to start Wednesday
Lowe (oblique) said that he expects to return to the Tampa Bay lineup for Wednesday's series finale versus the Yankees, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. "I'm good to go," Lowe said prior to Tuesday's 13-3 loss. "I came in [Monday] on the off day, just checked some boxes, swung, moved around, and I feel good."
Análise
Though Lowe missed out on a third straight start Tuesday while managing a tight right oblique, he's demonstrated enough improvement in his recovery over the last couple of days for the Rays to feel confident he'll be ready to go Wednesday. Lowe had previously strained the same oblique Opening Day and missed nearly two months of action before returning May 15. Lowe has avoided any prolonged absences since then, but he's still been a disappointment this season with a .229/.295/.369 slash line to go with seven home runs, 12 stolen bases, 40 runs and 29 RBI across 309 plate appearances.

Out Sunday with tight oblique
Lowe (oblique) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.
Análise
Lowe will take a seat for the second day in a row after he was scratched from the lineup ahead of Saturday's 2-1 win when he felt his right oblique tighten up while taking swings in the batting cage prior to the game. According to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times, Lowe said he doesn't expect to require a stint on the injured list due to the oblique issue, though the Rays' plans for him could change if he's unable to return to the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees following Monday's team off day.

Day-to-day with oblique tightness
Lowe was scratched from Saturday's lineup against the Giants with right oblique tightness and is day-to-day, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Análise
Lowe was a late scratch Saturday, with Everson Pereira getting added to the lineup. Oblique strains typically result in an injured-list stint, but for now the team is labeling Lowe as day-to-day with tightness. The Rays are scheduled to face righty Logan Webb on Sunday.

Late scratch Saturday
Lowe has been removed from the starting lineup ahead of Saturday's game versus San Francisco, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Análise
Lowe was originally penciled in to play right field and bat sixth, but he was scratched about an hour before the start of the contest. It's not immediately clear if his removal was due to an injury or for another reason. In Lowe's stead, Jake Mangum is sliding over from center field to right while Everson Pereira is getting a start in center.

Swipes 12th bag
Lowe went 1-for-5 with a double, an RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base Wednesday against the Athletics.
Análise
Lowe drove in a run with a ground-rule double in the first inning and then stole second base in the ninth frame. He has struggled to get on track at the plate for much of the season, though he has a double in three consecutive games. Lowe has also gotten more aggressive on the basepaths, as six of his 12 stolen bases for the campaign have come in his last 15 games.
