Pena went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 7-4 loss to the Tigers.
Análise
It was the fourth straight game batting in the leadoff spot for Pena, and he's excelled in the role by going 8-for-17 with two doubles, a homer, four RBI and three runs. The shortstop has hit safely in 19 of his past 20 games and seems likely to stick atop the lineup for the near future given his current form.

Pena went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored Monday against the Tigers.
Análise
Pena led off Sunday, though that came against a lefty and with Jose Altuve on the bench. It was more noteworthy that he was in the same spot Monday, with Altuve hitting second in the order. While there are plenty of bigger names in the Houston lineup, Pena has been a steady producer and has increased his walk rate to 7.9 percent while getting on base at a .333 clip through 114 plate appearances.

Pena drove in a run on a single in the fifth inning and then added a two-run double in the sixth. The shortstop snapped a 14-game hitting streak Friday but has now hit safely in 16 of 17 games dating back to April 8. On the year, he's slashing .255/.327/.388 with three home runs, 11 RBI, 13 runs scored and five steals across 110 plate appearances.
