Dominguez went 2-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI, a walk and a stolen base in Friday's 6-5 loss to the Mets.

Dominguez blasted multiple homers for the second time this year, and he extended his hitting streak to six games as well. The speedy switch hitter is pushing to hold onto an everyday role in the Yankees' crowded outfield. Dominguez went 4-for-5 with a double, a triple, a run and a stolen base Thursday in a loss to Toronto.
Análise
Among Dominguez's hits was his first career triple. This was the second time on the season that the 22-year-old has tallied four hits in a game, and both performances have come over the past 10 days. Dominguez has been very hot of late, recording five multi-hit efforts over his past nine contests and slashing .444/.444/.583 over that span. The productive stretch has pushed his season OPS up to .752 through 278 plate appearances.

A two-run single in the first inning and a fielder's choice in the ninth that brought home Aaron Judge bookended the scoring for the Yankees. The three RBI equaled Dominguez's total from his prior 26 games combined, and his homer drought now stands at 31 contests. Despite that lack of production, the 22-year-old should have a regular spot in the lineup while Trent Grisham (hamstring) is sidelined.

Despite owning a stellar .276/.358/.428 slash line against right-handed pitching this season, the switch-hitting Dominguez has had to settle for a part-time role while the Yankees look to keep veterans Paul Goldschmidt and Giancarlo Stanton involved. Though Ben Rice will draw the start at first base while Goldschmidt hits the bench for Monday's matchup with righty Max Scherzer, Stanton will get the nod over Dominguez at designated hitter.
