Does fine in no-decision
Ginn allowed two runs on two hits and four walks while striking out three over 5.1 innings in a no-decision Wednesday versus the Rangers.
Análise
Ginn gave up a two-run home run to Corey Seager in the third inning but was otherwise able to limit the damage. In his second start of the season, Ginn threw 47 of 78 pitches for strikes, suggesting he's one or two starts away from being fully stretched out after opening the year as a reliever. He's maintained a 3.31 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 11:7 K:BB across 16.1 innings over five appearances this season. If he stays in the rotation, he is tentatively projected to make his next start on the road in Seattle.

Picking up another start Wednesday
Ginn is slated to start Wednesday's game against the Rangers at Sutter Health Park, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
Análise
Ginn won a bullpen job with the Athletics coming out of spring training, but after making his first three appearances of the season as a reliever, he moved into the rotation last Friday in place of Luis Morales, who was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas. The right-hander handled a limited workload while taking a no-decision in the Athletics' 4-0 win over the Mets, working four innings and striking out four while allowing just one hit and one walk. He tossed 68 pitches in that start and could be pushed up into the 75-to-85 range Wednesday.

Tosses four frames in no-decision
Ginn didn't factor into the decision Friday against the Mets. He tossed four scoreless innings, allowing a hit and a walk while striking out four.
Análise
Ginn had allowed four runs with a 4:2 K:BB over seven innings out of the bullpen this season before making this start, and he looked poised, tossing 44 of his 68 pitches for strikes and limiting the damage to just two baserunners. It remains to be seen if Ginn will remain in the rotation, but if he does, his next start would likely come against the Rangers at home next week.
