Pulled off rehab assignment
The Rockies returned Doyle (oblique) from his rehab assignment Sunday, but he remains on the 10-day injured list.
Análise
Placed on the IL on May 21 due to a left oblique contusion, Doyle made enough progress in his recovery to resume playing in games for Triple-A Albuquerque on June 23. He went 7-for-22 with one home run and one stolen base over six contests, but he tweaked his left groin last weekend and then aggravated the injury again Saturday. Now back in Denver, Doyle is scheduled to undergo further evaluation from the Rockies' medical staff before the team determines a treatment plan. Doyle will likely remain on the shelf through at least the All-Star break.

Overcomes groin issue on rehab
Doyle (oblique/groin) is expected to resume his rehab assignment at Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Análise
Doyle landed on the 10-day injured list back in late May because of a left oblique contusion, but it's groin tightness that's held him out of action since Sunday. As long as he doesn't encounter another setback, Doyle still has a good chance to return to the Rockies' active roster before the All-Star break.

Scratched with groin tightness
Doyle (oblique) was scratched from a rehab appearance with Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday due to groin tightness, MLB.com reports.
Análise
Doyle had made four rehab appearances prior to the new injury, collecting four hits across 16 at-bats. The extent of the groin issue is unclear, though it's likely to push back Doyle's potential return by at least a couple of days.
