Marsh went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Friday's 10-1 victory over the Rockies.
Análise
Marsh had the biggest swing of the first inning for the Phillies, launching a three-run home run to turn a good inning into a great one. It was the first long ball of the season for the 28-year-old, who had 11 home runs in 133 games last year. So far this season, Marsh is slashing .320/.370/.520 with five RBI.

Idle against southpaw
Marsh is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.
Análise
Marsh will get his first breather of 2026 after he went 3-for-8 with two doubles and two RBI through the Phillies' first two contests. Though he'll be on the bench versus southpaw MacKenzie Gore, Marsh won't necessarily be used as a strict platoon player. Justin Crawford is also in the lineup Sunday, but he's also a left-handed batter who could occasionally cede center field to Marsh against southpaws as a result of Johan Rojas's suspension.
