Cracks two-run homer Friday
Seigler went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run during the Red Sox's 6-2 win over the Mets on Friday.
Análise
Seigler extended Boston's lead to 4-1 in the seventh inning, courtesy of his two-run deep ball off A.J. Minter. It was the second home run of Seigler's major-league career and his fifth multi-hit game of the season. He should continue to see regular reps at second base for as long as Marcelo Mayer (forearm), Isiah Kiner-Falefa (forearm) and Nick Sogard (oblique) are all on the injured list.

Seigler (trapezius) will start at second base and bat leadoff in Thursday's game versus the White Sox.
Análise
Seigler had to be removed from Wednesday's contest with a right trapezius contusion following a play at the plate, but he will not have to miss a start. The 27-year-old has slashed .293/.379/.448 in 18 games for the Red Sox while serving as the team's primary leadoff man of late.

Análise
Seigler initially seemed to have suffered a head injury after sliding into Kyle Teel's knee guard during a play at the plate in the third inning, though it appears his upper back took most of the damage. Seigler can be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Seigler was removed from Wednesday's game against the White Sox with an apparent head injury, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.
Análise
Seigler scored on a wild pitch in the third inning, but he remained on the ground for a few minutes after sliding headfirst into Kyle Teel's knee guard. The Red Sox will presumably evaluate him for a concussion, and an update on his status may be available in the near future.
