Barnes will shed his questionable tag due to an illness and suit up Friday. The star forward will hope to bounce back after a lackluster offensive performance in Wednesday's loss to New Orleans, during which he posted nine points on 4-of-14 shooting from the field. In five March games, Barnes has averaged 16.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.6 steals in 35.8 minutes per contest.

Barnes is feeling under the weather, but we'll have a better idea of his status for Friday's game based on his activity level at shootaround. If he's not able to give it a go, Brandon Ingram would see an uptick in usage, and there would be more minutes available for Jamison Battle and Sandro Mamukelashvili.

Barnes provided nine points (4-14 FG, 1-6 3Pt), six rebounds, four assists, one block and three steals in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 122-111 loss to the Pelicans.
Análise
It was a tough performance offensively for Barnes, who failed to score in the second half while missing all seven of his field-goal attempts (including three attempts from beyond the arc). He contributed defensively with four stocks, and Wednesday was the 11th time this season he recorded at least three steals. Since the All-Star break, Barnes has averaged 15.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.0 threes, 1.9 steals and 1.2 blocks over 33.9 minutes per game.

Barnes continues to contribute across the board for both the Raptors and fantasy managers alike. The All-Star forward has averaged 17.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.3 blocks in 33.6 minutes per tilt in his last seven games, shooting 51.1 percent from the field.

Barnes amassed 17 points (6-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal in 35 minutes during Sunday's 122-92 victory over Dallas.
Análise
Barnes did a nice job putting the clamps on Cooper Flagg, helping hold Dallas' star rookie to just 17 points on 7-for-17 shooting. Barnes finished with a team-best plus-25 differential in the blowout win, and as a bonus for 9-cat managers, he only committed one turnover in his 35 minutes of floor time.
