Porter (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the 76ers.
Análise
As expected, Porter has been downgraded from doubtful to out and will miss a second straight game. With Nic Claxton (rest) and Drake Powell (knee) also out, Terance Mann, Ziaire Williams, Danny Wolf and Josh Minott are all candidates for increased roles Saturday. Porter's next chance to suit up will come Monday against Portland.

Porter may have sustained the injury during his most recent appearance Tuesday, when he played just 22 minutes in a blowout loss to the Pistons. With the ankle sprain keeping Porter on the sideline for at least one game, the Nets could reopen a spot in the rotation for either or both of Terance Mann and Ochai Agbaji, after both didn't play Tuesday in coach's decisions.

Porter had 19 points (7-14 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal across 22 minutes during Tuesday's 138-100 loss to Detroit.
Análise
Porter has been the Nets' best player this season, and while he had that title again Tuesday, he was slightly disappointing from a fantasy perspective. The star forward, who returned to the court after not playing in Monday's win over the Grizzlies, failed to reach the 20-point mark for the first time since March 3, when he was limited to nine points in a loss to the Heat. Still, Porter has scored at least 18 points in all but one of his last 10 appearances. He might not repeat the numbers he had in the first half of the campaign, but he should continue as the Nets' go-to option on offense, which should be enough to give him decent fantasy appeal every time he steps on the court.

After resting during Monday's win over Memphis, Porter will return to action Tuesday. Over his past 10 appearances, the sharpshooter is averaging 21.5 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 31.5 minutes per game.

Porter tallied 30 points (10-25 FG, 3-12 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 13 rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block across 39 minutes in Saturday's 107-105 win over the Pistons.
Análise
After posting a 27-point, 13-rebound double-double in Thursday's loss to Miami, Porter secured his second consecutive double-double and 12th of the campaign. The 28-year-old forward led all players in scoring, reaching the 30-point threshold for the first time since Jan. 29. He has now supplied at least three combined steals-plus-blocks in three of his last four outings, averaging 23.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.8 steals in 33.0 minutes per game during that span.
