Gillespie ended with five points (1-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one block and one steal in 20 minutes during Tuesday's 114-110 Play-In Game loss to the Trail Blazers.

Gillespie continues to put up underwhelming production, scoring in single digits for the fifth time in his past six appearances. While it has been a breakout season for Gillespie, much of his success came when other players were sidelined. With the team now mostly healthy, he has shifted back to a modest role. During his past six games, Gillespie has barely been a top-300 player, averaging 6.3 points, 1.8 assists and 1.3 three-pointers in just 22.5 minutes per game.

Gillespie took a seat for the final game of the regular season with a shoulder issue, but he'll be ready to roll for Tuesday's matchup. He didn't have much of an impact down the stretch of the regular season, as he averaged 6.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists in his last five showings.

The 26-year-old guard delivered career highs in several categories and will finish the regular season with averages of 12.7 points, 4.6 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 28.5 minutes per game across 80 outings (58 starts). Jamaree Bouyea and Koby Brea will likely see increased playing time for the shorthanded Suns on Sunday.

The shoulder injury is a new concern for Gillespie, who hasn't missed a game since Jan. 27. If he's unable to play in the Suns' regular-season finale, Jamaree Bouyea, Amir Coffey and Koby Brea would be candidates to see increased playing time, as the team could be very thin in the backcourt.
