This season, we laid the foundation with Common, but our ambition goes further. Introducing Sorare Set, a new game experience designed to make Sorare accessible and engaging for the widest possible audience.

Sorare Pro delivers a uniquely powerful experience for NBA fans. Set was built to bring that same excitement to more players, while easing the transition from Common to Pro.

This initial launch will introduce our first Set cards with the familiar WNTR and Ice Breaker design used previously on Sorare Pro.

Set represents a self-contained experience, designed to enable long-term engagement with Sorare even if a user does not immediately transition to Pro. To realize this objective, we intend to focus on three core pillars:

• Meaningful Rewards & Progression: The acts of learning, playing, and improving will be immediately rewarding, fueled by both gameplay depth and significant incentives, including the introduction of cash rewards*.
• Leveraging a Proven Mechanic (Hot Streaks): We are building upon the successful Hot Streaks system from the 2025/26 season to provide clear objectives, momentum, and immediate wins.
• A Mobile-First Approach: Reducing complexity and optimizing for mobile meets today’s gamers where they are, benefiting all players from casual users to our Pro community.

We are committed to continuous iteration and improvement, Set after Set, incorporating player feedback to make the experience stronger, deeper, and more engaging over time.

Get ready! The exclusive WNTR Set cards are dropping soon! 

The pursuit of the WNTR Set cards starts at the end of January/early February and ends on 22/03/2026. This is your opportunity to chase every card from the Set & conquer the game board and its final Streak, potentially multiple times! 

The duration of future Sets will be comparable, but adjustments will be made based on NBA schedules and insights gained from previous Sets.

Note that Early Access cards won’t be part of the Sorare WNTR Set.

Note: The new tiering system is designed to be transparent, straightforward for users to understand, and accurately reflect on-court performance. We will carefully monitor the quality of the pack and tiering experience. Minor adjustments may be made if necessary.

➕Collection Rewards

Collection Bonus

Every card you collect helps improve your Club’s Collection Bonus. This bonus is applied whenever you line up a player’s card from that Club for a level on the game board.

Example: I have 10 players in my Los Angeles Lakers collection, so my Collection Bonus is 4%.

I play my Luka Dončić card in my lineup; following his performance, he achieves a base score of 50 points. The Collection Bonus is then applied.

Here: 50 * 1.04 = 52 points.

This bonus will be essential (and the only one) for conquering the highest levels of the board, where every additional point matters.

Note: The only bonus that will be applied to your player card is the collection bonus. Set cards will not benefit from Card XP Bonuses or In-Season bonuses.

🔄 Quick Sell

By opening card packs, you will collect duplicates or cards from clubs/leagues that don’t interest you. You can recycle these cards for Essence to open other packs.

Here is the amount of WNTR Essence you will obtain for each recycled card:

🎬 The Game Board

Gameplay

In Sorare Set, the game unfolds on a board consisting of an onboarding phase and 6 levels.

Each level has a score objective, and as a Manager, you have 4 attempts (lives) to complete each level successfully. When you complete a level your lives replenish as you advance to the next level. When you lose all your lives for a given level, you’ll move back to level 1 (with 4 lives). 

To validate a level, you need 5 players. In Set, Game Weeks are gone. You can complete multiple levels in a single weekend or even in one day. You can either submit all lineups all at once, or one after the other. Your team locks as soon as the match of your first player has started.

This is a Cap mode, with an MVP + 120 L10 cap budget to spend on your 4 other players

Once you complete a level, your players from all your lineups are released to be used for your next level.

This allows you to confirm your team once the lineups are announced before the matches.

Note: You can only use WNTR Set cards on the WNTR board. No Common or Pro cards are allowed.

The Onboarding Board

The game board features 3 “Replay” levels designed to help players familiarize themselves with the game. These levels offer a short game loop based on a player’s last match, providing immediate feedback on their selections.

The Wheel

As soon as you win your Wheel ticket, you can spin it for guaranteed rewards. Each spin gives you the chance to win WNTR Essence, Roster Cards, Key Cards, or even Star Cards.

Note: Common Wheel tickets won’t be usable with the WNTR wheel

End of the Set

Once the WNTR Set is finished, the game board is no longer playable and the daily missions are closing as well. You can continue to use your WNTR Set cards in the Common competitions.

Your WNTR Essence will be converted into Common Essence and your collection completion will reward you Gems for the next Set. 

With this Common Essence, you will still have the opportunity to complete your WNTR Set collections by opening packs that will remain available on the market. 

The Common Mode

During the WNTR Set, Common cards remain in your collection and can be used to play for the 2025/26 season in:

• Common competitions
• Common Hot Streaks

The elements listed below will now only be available in Sorare WNTR Set once launched:

• Wheel
• Daily Pack
  • WNTR Set cards will be usable in Common competitions
• Daily Boost Missions
• Collection Missions

It will still be possible to access Common packs via the Marketplace using Essence or Gems to strengthen your teams and complete your collections. 

Your Gems will be usable for the Common game as well as for the WNTR Set. 

To show our appreciation for your engagement with the Common 2025/2026 game, we’re giving a small thank you gift: we’ll be adding some Gems directly to the accounts of our most engaged users. Keep an eye out for this!

Note: Common collection rewards that have not yet been claimed will be auto-claimed and added to your account. 

Final Word

With the launch of the WNTR Set, we are embarking on a new adventure to make Sorare even more accessible and exciting. We are convinced that this new “Set” mode with its collections, game board, and missions will bring an extra layer of strategy and fun to your Manager experience.
