Postseason Edition Cards: Powering October Glory

The Postseason is where legends are born, and this year’s Postseason Edition Cards immortalize the stars who shine brightest under the October lights. Featuring only players from playoff-bound teams, these cards aren’t just collectibles: they’re game-changers.

Every Postseason Edition card comes with a +7.5% scoring boost across all Postseason competitions. But their real power shines in the Championship Chase, where you’ll need at least 2 Postseason Edition Cards in the Limited & Rare competitions to compete each week (Super Rare & Unique lineups require none, but still give the 7.5% scoring boost). As teams clinch their playoff spots, new cards will drop – giving you time to build the perfect October roster.

Be on the lookout for each card drop and collect the pieces that will lead you to glory and become part of your legacy. These cards will only be available through Auctions, Instant Buy, and Crafting. 

The Championship is Back

It’s back. The Championship returns for the 2025 MLB Postseason. This flagship Cumulative Competition puts consistency to the test with each Manager’s best 5 of 6 weekly scores counting toward the Championship Leaderboard. Every Game Week matters, with rewards available for both cumulative leaderboards as well as each Game Week during the Postseason.

Every Manager can enter one lineup per Game Week. Each entry will require 25 Energy per classic card, and to play at Limited and Rare, you’ll need 2 Postseason Edition cards in your lineup. Super Rare and Unique Managers have no Postseason requirement.

The MLB Postseason is all about rising to the occasion, and so are our weekly Postseason competitions. Whether you’re looking for the ultimate challenge or a strategic way to play without burning through your Energy, we’ve got the perfect format for your managerial style. 

Please note that Daily Swing, Arena 100, and All Star will not be running during the Postseason. 

Challenger: Energy-Free Opportunity

Challenger removes all barriers, allowing 1 lineup for Limited, Rare, Super Rare, and Unique with zero Energy cost. It’s the perfect format to stay active and competitive throughout October. Challenger will not count towards the Championship.

Minors: Pure Roster-Building

Strip away the scarcity factors and what remains is pure managerial skill. Minors focuses solely on Common cards, rewarding those who can maximize value from accessible players. Minors will not count towards the Championship.

Daily Derby: Every Game, Every Moment Counts

In the Postseason, every pitch matters. That’s why Daily Derby is back, giving you a chance to compete every single day across all scarcities, from Common to Unique.

For Common, you’ll have one lineup per Manager, keeping things fast and competitive. For Limited, Rare, Super Rare, and Unique, we’re also giving you one lineup per day and to make sure you can keep playing deep into October, we’ve reduced the Energy required for these scarcities from 10 down to just 5. Daily Derby will not count towards the Championship. 

The message is simple: More chances to play. More ways to win. More reasons to stay locked in all Postseason long.

Postseason Missions

Missions will be sticking around for the Postseason, and here’s what you can expect: 

• Vault Picks – Use sealed cards to predict key game outcomes. Earn Essence for correct calls, plus a shot at cash prizes* on select Postseason nights.
• Daily Picker (Common) – earn Common Essence  for making smart predictions.
• Daily Compose – Get rewarded for setting your lineup 

No matter how you play, there’s a Mission for you…and a reward waiting to be claimed.

Essence & Energy Extended to the 2026 Season

The Postseason may be the ultimate test, but your journey doesn’t end when the World Series champion is crowned. This year, we’re making sure your progress carries forward. All unused Essence and Energy will roll over into MLB 2026, giving you a head start on building next season’s dynasty. Please note that any Essence earned over the 7,000 cap will be lost.

This means every lineup you submit, every mission you complete, and every reward you earn isn’t just about October; it’s about setting yourself up for long-term success. You’re not just playing for this championship; you’re building a legacy.

Update on Unique Regular Season Rewards

As we shift our focus fully to the Postseason, we’re also making an adjustment to the final weeks of the Regular Season. Starting Game Week 49, card rewards will no longer be offered in Unique Champion and Unique All-Star competitions. Correspondingly, Essence rewards will be updated to reflect this change.
