The J.League Anniversary Tournament is almost here, and Sorare is celebrating in style ⚽
With a dedicated competition for the first time and brand-new gameplay elements, everything is set for an epic six-month challenge.
This guide has everything you need to dive in: a full gameplay recap, rewards, promos, and the best scouting resources to get started.
A Special Season
As you may know, the J.League is transitioning to a new seasonality, with its next full season kicking off in Summer 2026.
To bridge the gap, a special Anniversary Tournament will take place over the next six months, spanning 20 Matchdays. You can find full details about the tournament format on the official J.League website.
On Sorare, the J.League In-Season competition is built exclusively around this tournament, running for six months, and covering all 20 Matchdays.
New Gameplay: Why You Shouldn’t Miss This Season
This J.League season introduces multiple gameplay upgrades you won’t want to miss.
Improved J.League Hot Streaks 🔥
A separate J.League Hot Streak competition is launching, with top rewards across all scarcities:
- Limited & Rare: Top cash* rewards & Essence
- Super Rare & Unique: Essence rewards
Key improvements:
- Hot Streaks will open every time at least one J.League match is played, no more missing out due to limited fixtures.
- Additive rewards: the more lineups that hit the target, the more rewards you win.
- Hot Streak Essence Grand Prix: regardless of your streak level, you can also compete for a shared Essence prize every Game Week:
- 100k Essence – 480 points (Limited)
- 25k Essence – 520 points (Rare)
- 5k Essence – 560 points (Super Rare)
- Entry limits per Game Week: 5 lineups in Limited, 4 in Rare, 3 in Super Rare & Unique
Boosted Hot Streaks Promo 🚀
To kick things off, all Hot Streak rewards will be tripled in Limited, Rare, and Super Rare for 5 Matchdays.
📌 Reminder: J.League Hot Streaks begin at Matchday 3, and the boost applies from Matchday 3 through Matchday 7.
The boost applies every time you reach a streak level during the promo window, even if your streak restarts.
Leaderboard Competition
Alongside Hot Streaks, the J.League will feature a single global leaderboard starting Matchday 3:
Lineup limits: 1 lineup in Limited, 2 in Rare, 3 in Super Rare & Unique
Temporary Competitions: Matchdays 1 & 2
The first two J.League Matchdays will run as special temporary competitions:
- Leaderboards only (no Hot Streaks)
- Temporary prize pools with top cash* prizes and Essence
- Up to 4 lineups per Manager
Temporary competitions for the first two Matchdays will still open even when fewer than 10 teams are playing, ensuring that all fixtures are covered.
