For the past few weeks, Managers have been offered an alternative reward option for certain Hot Streaks milestones.

Starting this Game Week and with rewards distributed today, October 14th, we’re expanding this test to cover more Hot Streak milestones, as well as some leaderboards’s rewards, giving Managers more flexibility and choice in how they earn their rewards.

What does this mean?

Of course, you’ll always have access to the initial rewards announced for Sorare 26 prize pools, whether from Hot Streaks or Leaderboards. But now, in some cases, you’ll also get the option to swap for an alternative reward if you prefer another type of prize.

We know that many Managers have been eager to earn more Essence and progress in the game, and now, thanks to this test, they can choose to swap their cash rewards for Essence in some cases. We’ll also consider adding more reward options as alternatives in the future.

Essence Flavor Match 

Alternative Essence rewards will now match the competition they come from instead of only being “All-Star.”

Example: If you pick Essence instead of cash from a Premier League Hot Streak reward, you’ll receive Premier League Essence, not All-Star Essence.

Where It Applies

• Hot Streaks rewards below certain amounts
  
• Some of the Leaderboard Essence and cash rewards (depending on the amount)
  

Keep in Mind

This feature is still in testing. Numbers and options may change from one Game Week to another. But don’t worry, the original rewards remain guaranteed. We’re simply giving Managers more flexibility in how they choose their rewards.

In some Leaderboards, you might also see Essence from the upper scarcity as an alternative reward. It’s a test designed to help Managers who want to win cards from a higher scarcity or speed up their move to the next level.
