Analyse
Shannon was inefficient from the field and failed to knock down a three-pointer, but he got to the charity stripe consistently and grinded his way to a team-best 26 points. Seeing heavy minutes of late, the 25-year-old has eclipsed the 20-point mark in each of the Timberwolves' past three games. He'll close the regular season averaging 5.6 points and 1.1 rebounds in 12.5 minutes across 43 appearances.

Shannon will make just his second start of the season due to the team resting the majority of their rotation players. Shannon has averaged an impressive 28.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 29.5 minutes per contest over his last two appearances.

Analyse
Shannon didn't start Wednesday, but he made his presence felt off the bench and led all Minnesota players in this loss while setting a new career-high scoring mark. This was just the seventh time Shannon scored in double digits this season, and even though one game won't be enough to experience a drastic uptick in his fantasy upside, don't be surprised if he has a bigger role offensively in the final two games of the regular season, especially if the Timberwolves continue to rest most of their starters.
