Anunoby (hamstring) is questionable for Friday's Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the 76ers.

Anunoby was diagnosed with a right hamstring strain and is day-to-day moving forward, Shams Charania of ESPN reports Thursday.

Anunoby tweaked his hamstring late in Game 2 and will be questionable for Game 3 on Friday. He's been outstanding in the playoffs with 21.4 points per contest. If Anunoby misses time, the Knicks could lean more on Miles McBride, Jordan Clarkson and Landry Shamet. However, per Stefan Bondy of The New York Post, Anunoby's hamstring strain is considered "very, very minor."

Anunoby registered 24 points (9-17 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, two assists, one block and four steals across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 108-102 victory over Philadelphia in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. However, he seemed to suffer a leg injury late in the game.

Anunoby seemed to tweak something in the back of his right leg with three minutes remaining in the match, and after subbing out, he did not return to the game. Coach Mike Brown declined to provide an update on Anunoby's leg issue after the game, simply saying, "he looked like he was hopping," per Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News. For now, Anunoby should be considered questionable for Game 3 in Philly on Friday.

Anunoby amassed 18 points (7-8 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one block in 30 minutes during Monday's 137-98 win over the 76ers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Anunoby needed only seven field-goal attempts to record 18 points in this blowout win, finishing as New York's second-leading scorer while playing just three quarters. The 28-year-old forward has been on a tear of late, scoring 17-plus points in five straight games while chipping in at least one block in each of the last six. He'll look to stay productive on both ends of the floor as the Knicks aim to take a 2-0 series lead in Game 2 on Wednesday.
