Doncic produced 37 points (11-22 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 13-16 FT), five rebounds, 10 assists and four steals across 34 minutes during Tuesday's 140-126 win over Utah.
Analyse
Although James stole the headlines with his season debut, Doncic continued his torrid run of production and recorded his eighth double-double. Doncic was also a threat on defense, collecting four steals to match his second-highest scoring total of the season. Despite the supreme stat line, he coughed up the ball eight times in the loss, which marked his worst showing of the season in that category.

Doncic notched 41 points (9-19 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 18-20 FT), nine rebounds, six assists, two blocks and one steal across 38 minutes during Saturday's 119-95 win over the Bucks.
Analyse
The Lakers needed Doncic to be at his best Saturday, and the star point guard delivered in a big way. This was his fourth game with at least 40 points through 10 regular-season appearances, and the five-time All-Star continues to lead the NBA in points per game. He also delivered an efficient performance from beyond the arc against Milwaukee after shooting just 30.0 percent from downtown in his previous three outings.

Sniffs triple-double in win
Doncic ended with 24 points (6-16 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 9-13 FT), seven rebounds, 12 assists, one block and two steals across 40 minutes during Friday's 118-104 win over New Orleans.
Analyse
Doncic didn't have his best shooting performance in this game, but he came through every time the Lakers needed him. The star guard finished just three rebounds shy of posting what would've been his first triple-double since Nov. 2. However, this game also represented Doncic's sixth double-double of the campaign. Even though Austin Reaves led the way in scoring for the Lakers in this victory, there's no question that Doncic remains the most influential player on offense for the Lakers, and the team goes as he goes.

Doncic supplied 19 points (7-20 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 4-7 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 121-92 loss to the Thunder.
Analyse
No other Lakers starter managed more than 13 points on the night, and only four Los Angeles players in total scored in double digits in the rout. It was the first time Doncic failed to score at least 20 points in a game himself this season, but the 26-year-old superstar is still averaging a blistering 34.9 points, 9.1 boards, 8.9 assists, 3.5 threes and 1.8 steals through his first eight contests.
