Pours in career-high 32 in big win
Edwards amassed 32 points (11-18 FG, 7-11 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four assists and two steals across 33 minutes during Thursday's 139-118 win over the Kings.
Analyse
The 32 points and seven made three-pointers were both career highs for the second-year forward. Edwards has started five straight games for the injury-depleted Sixers, averaging 19.0 points, 4.0 boards, 3.2 assists, 2.4 steals and 2.4 threes over that stretch in 28.6 minutes while shooting 55.9 percent from the floor and 42.9 percent from downtown.

Goes for 21 points Sunday
Edwards racked up 21 points (9-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and two steals over 25 minutes during Sunday's 109-103 win over the Trail Blazers.
Analyse
Edwards has started for the shorthanded 76ers in the past three games, scoring in double digits each time and surpassing the 15-point plateau in the last two. The former Kentucky standout is making the most of his expanded minutes, but his role is one to monitor closely as the team gets healthier. Still, it's worth noting that Edwards has posted double-digit points in four of his last five appearances, averaging 13.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game in that stretch.

Strong two-way performance Saturday
Edwards logged 19 points (9-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks over 31 minutes during the 76ers' 104-97 win over the Nets on Saturday.
Analyse
Edwards was particularly effective in the third quarter with nine of his 19 points coming out of halftime, and he finished Saturday's game as the Sixers' second-leading scorer behind Quentin Grimes (28 points). Edwards also showed his defensive chops with a game-high three steals, and he has logged at least two steals in four of his last five outings. He has started each of the 76ers' last two games and will likely continue to operate in an elevated role for as long as Kelly Oubre (elbow), Tyrese Maxey (finger) and Paul George (suspension) are sidelined.
