If the talented young guard is ruled out, the Bulls could turn to Jevon Carter (shoulder), Dalen Terry (calf) and Talen Horton-Tucker to help shoulder the load in the backcourt.

Giddey didn't have his best shooting performance, but that won't matter much for fantasy managers as long as he continues to fill the stat sheet on a regular basis. Giddey finished just two boards shy of recording what would've been his third triple-double over his last five outings, and the Australian guard is ending the season on a really strong note as the Bulls continue their push for a playoff berth. Over his last five outings, Giddey has averaged 17.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, 10.2 assists and 2.2 steals per contest.

The hip soreness is a new concern for Giddey, who has played in each of the club's last four outings. The 22-year-old has averaged 18.5 points, 10.3 assists, 9.8 rebounds and 2.5 steals across 34.0 minutes per contest in that four-game span. If Giddey is sidelined against Oklahoma City, Dalen Terry and Julian Phillips are candidates for a bump in playing time.

Analyse
Giddey showed up in a big way across the board Thursday, finishing the game second in scoring behind Coby White while leading the team in rebounds and assists on the way to his second triple-double in eight March appearances. His sparkling night was capped by a half-court shot at the buzzer to bring home the victory, which took place immediately after LA scored the go-ahead layup with only 3.1 seconds remaining. As long as Giddey is able to keep his ankle in good health, he should be in prime position to contribute for fantasy managers down the stretch of the regular season.
