Analyse
Tuesday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, and Poole could be held out as a precaution. During Monday's win over Dallas, Poole had 14 points, two rebounds and one assist in 27 minutes. If he can't play Tuesday, Jose Alvarado could see more playing time for the Pelicans.

Struggles with three-point shot
Poole notched 16 points (4-10 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 7-9 FT), two rebounds, six assists and one block over 32 minutes during Saturday's 128-109 victory over the Pacers.
Analyse
On the surface, Poole had a solid performance in 32 minutes. However, the fact that he went 1-for-7 from three-point range limited his fantasy upside. Poole is a proven scorer at the NBA level, but he's likely to continue coming off the bench for the foreseeable future. Poole has scored at least 15 points off the bench in his four outings since his return from injury on Dec. 11.

Poole had 15 points (5-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound, two assists and three steals over 25 minutes during Thursday's 133-128 overtime win over the Rockets.
Analyse
The Pelicans appear to be content with Poole in a bench role for now, with the combo guard riding with the second unit in three straight games following an extended absence with a quadriceps strain. During this period, Poole has averaged 17.7 points, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals in 25.9 minutes per game and should continue to see his playing time rise as he becomes further removed from the injury.
