Will remain out Monday
Poole (elbow) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Heat.
Analyse
Poole will miss a second straight game due to a hyperextended elbow, and it's unclear when he'll be able to suit up again, though his next chance will come Wednesday versus Utah. With Malcolm Brogdon (ankle) also sidelined, Bub Carrington and Marcus Smart should see more minutes.

Poole has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Charlotte due to a hyperextended right elbow.
Analyse
The hyperextended elbow is a new injury for Poole, who hasn't missed a game since Jan. 8. With the point guard joining Malcolm Brogdon (ankle) on the sideline, Bub Carrington and Marcus Smart are candidates for increased roles. Poole's next chance to play will come Monday against Miami.

Poole accumulated 24 points (8-17 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 129-121 loss to the Trail Blazers.
Analyse
Poole had a solid performance Wednesday and reached the 24-point mark for the third time over his last five outings. The veteran shooter has been a bit inconsistent throughout February, though, and his performances have suffered because of that. In 11 appearances this month, he's averaging 22.3 points per game but shooting just 42.7 percent from the floor and 29.7 percent from three-point range.

Poole racked up 26 points (8-13 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and two assists across 29 minutes during Monday's 107-99 win over Brooklyn.
Analyse
Poole was in a bit of a shooting slump in the first two games after the All-Star break, but he broke out of it Monday with a game-high 26 points, nine of which came in the fourth quarter to help the Wizards capture their 10th win of the season. He has averaged 22.1 points, 4.8 assists and 3.9 rebounds over 32.6 minutes per game since the beginning of February.

Shoots poorly once again
Poole finished Sunday's 110-90 loss to the Magic with 16 points (6-16 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, four assists and two steals in 28 minutes.
Analyse
Poole has been unable to reach the 20-point mark in three of his last four games, though he has a 42-point effort sandwiched in that span. The lack of consistency on a game-to-game basis and the shooting woes have hurt Poole in recent weeks. Even though he remains a solid fantasy contributor due to his usage rate and his role in the Wizards' offensive scheme, he won't have a lot of value if he continues to shoot the rock as he's done of late. Over his last five games, Poole is shooting just 39.6 percent from the floor and 24 percent from deep while averaging 21.2 points per contest.
