Double-double in win
Ingles chipped in 15 points (6-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt), 10 rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal over 32 minutes during Sunday's 132-126 victory over the Pelicans.
Analyse
Ingles drew the start Sunday and contributed across the board, knocking down three triples and reaching the 10-rebound mark to record his first double-double of the season. It was a positive way for the veteran to close the regular season after playing a limited role in the Timberwolves' rotation, as he'll finish averaging 1.5 points and 1.3 assists in 5.7 minutes across 27 appearances.

Ingles didn't play Friday against the Rockets due to personal reasons, but the veteran forward should suit up Sunday. Given that the Timberwolves have ruled nine players out for this regular-season finale, it wouldn't be surprising if Ingles sees a similar workload to the one he had against the Magic on Wednesday, when he logged 18 minutes.

Ingles hasn't been much of a factor in the Minnesota rotation over the course of the campaign, though he logged a season-high 18 minutes Wednesday against the Magic with his squad shorthanded. His absence Friday shouldn't have too large of an impact, as the Timberwolves can lean on Jaylen Clark, Julian Phillips and Enrique Freeman to step up in the frontcourt Friday if needed.

However, with Minnesota down Anthony Edwards (knee), Rudy Gobert (rest), Julius Randle (hand) and Ayo Dosunmu (calf), Ingles should be more productive in all statistical categories.
