Serviceable effort in start
Huff racked up 12 points (5-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists and four blocks over 22 minutes during Friday's 119-86 victory over Washington.
Analyse
Huff moved back into the starting lineup, just the third time he has assumed that position all season. On the heels of some encouraging performances, Huff was rewarded and made the most of his opportunity. In three games over the past week, he has averaged 11.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 1.7 three-pointers in 22.7 minutes per game. While the rotation could certainly change again, Huff is worth adding in standard leagues, at least for the time being.

Huff will make his third start of the regular season Friday while Isaiah Jackson downgrades to a rotational role off the bench. Huff has scored in double digits in three of his last four outings, and over that span he has averaged 11.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 3.0 blocks and 2.0 threes over 24.8 minutes per game.

Huff blocked three shots Wednesday, bringing his total over the past 12 games to 29 blocks. Despite continuing to come off the bench, Huff has been able to put himself on the standard league radar, averaging 8.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks in 24.1 minutes per game over the past three contests. He is worth a look if you are in need of some rim protection on your fantasy squad.

Analyse
Huff has been steady in his role as Indiana's backup center but has shown that he can step up when necessary, as he has played 18, 26 and 27 minutes respectively in his last three games, averaging 12.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.7 steals, 2.7 threes and a whopping 3.0 blocks in that span. While Isaiah Jackson is likely to retain the starting role, Huff's strong performances could earn him more minutes moving forward.
