Stewart finished Saturday's 124-112 victory over Milwaukee with 19 points (6-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds and one block across 26 minutes.
Analyse
Stewart moved into the starting lineup, replacing Tobias Harris, who was ruled out due to an ankle injury. While the 19 points were nice, Stewart's lack of peripherals was a little disappointing. On the whole, it's been a decent season thus far for Stewart, who is averaging 10.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 22.5 minutes per game. If and when the roster is healthy, he should be viewed as a blocks specialist in standard formats.

With Tobias Harris (ankle) sitting out the second half of this back-to-back set, Stewart will rejoin the starting five. In six starts so far this season, the big man has averaged 12.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.2 blocks and 1.7 assists across 24.8 minutes per contest.

Stewart finished with nine points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), one rebound, one assist and four blocks over 22 minutes during Friday's 122-116 win over the Trail Blazers.
Analyse
This was Stewart's fifth game of the season with at least four blocks, which ties him for the most such games in the NBA this season. Per Coty M. Davis of The Detroit News, head coach J.B. Bickerstaff heaped praise on Stewart after the game, calling Stewart "the best defensive center in the league and it's not even close." The Pistons have gotten off to an 18-5 start this season, and they rank in the top five in defensive efficiency. Stewart has played a key role in their success.

Shortly after receiving his first technical, Stewart got into a heated argument with Bobby Portis, which ended his night early. Across 18 minutes, Stewart logged five points (2-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt), four rebounds, one steal and two blocks.
