Won't play Thursday
Hartenstein (rest) won't play Thursday against the Clippers, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
Analyse
Hartenstein will be held out of the first leg of a back-to-back for injury management purposes, but he should be back in action Friday in Minnesota. Chet Holmgren will spend more time at center Thursday with Hartenstein watching from the sidelines, and there will be more minutes available for Kenrich Williams and Ousmane Dieng.

Serviceable in return
Hartenstein (calf) logged 10 points (5-9 FG), nine rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 20 minutes during Saturday's 111-109 loss to the Spurs.
Analyse
Hartenstein returned from a six-game absence as a result of a right soleus strain, moving straight into the starting lineup. He fell well under the 27.9 minutes per game he had been averaging for the season prior to missing time, with his limitation likely being part of his return-to-action plan. The veteran center holds averages of 12.1 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.8 blocks while shooting 66.5 percent from the field and 64.0 percent from the free-throw line through 20 appearances on the campaign.

Will be available Saturday
Hartenstein (calf) is not on the injury report and will be available for Saturday's game against the Spurs.
Analyse
Hartenstein will be available after a six-game absence due to a right soleus strain, and the big man should slot into the starting lineup right away. His return also means the Thunder will likely have their best starting lineup for the first time this season. Additionally, Hartenstein's return means Jaylin Williams should see a dip in minutes, while Jalen Williams should move to the three and Chet Holmgren will likely slide to the four.
