Strong two-way showing in loss
Daniels supplied 18 points (8-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two steals over 33 minutes during Wednesday's 131-109 loss to Miami.
Analyse
The Hawks suffered a 22-point loss in this matchup, but Daniels was one of the few Atlanta players who finished with a decent stat line, mainly due to his two-way contributions outside of his effective shooting. Despite not being known as a scorer, Daniels has posted double-digit points in each of his games in February, averaging 16.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 3.0 steals per game since the beginning of the month.

Teases triple-double with steals
Daniels ended Monday's 98-86 victory over Miami with 10 points (5-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt), 11 rebounds, two assists and seven steals across 34 minutes.
Analyse
The seven pilfers were one shy of Daniels' season high, a mark he set Dec. 23 against the Timberwolves. The third-year guard's impressive defensive performance also extended beyond his personal stats, as he helped hold the Heat to a feeble 32.1 FG%. Daniels' double-double was his sixth of the season, and four of them have come in his last 12 appearances -- a stretch in which he's averaging 15.3 points, 7.3 boards, 5.3 assists, 3.0 steals, 1.0 threes and 0.8 blocks.

Nears double-double in loss
Daniels notched 10 points (3-14 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and three steals in 34 minutes during Thursday's 114-108 loss to the Magic.
Analyse
Daniels nearly recorded his fifth double-double of the season while stuffing the stat sheet Thursday. The 21-year-old reached double-digit points for the eighth consecutive contest. However, he struggled from the field against Orlando and failed to hit a three-pointer for the third time across his last four outings. Daniels did tie the game-high mark in steals, and he has logged 29 outings with at least three swipes through 51 regular-season appearances.
