Carries Houston to victory
Sengun totaled 28 points (10-17 FG, 8-10 FT), 11 rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 114-104 victory over the Cavaliers.

Sengun enjoyed yet another successful night across the board, securing his fifth consecutive double-double. He was far more efficient than his 11-for-31 showing from the field Sunday, needing only 17 field-goal attempts to lead the Rockets in scoring Wednesday. Sengun continues to prove that he's one of the best all-around big men in the game, averaging 24.4 points, 11.4 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.2 blocks per contest over his last five appearances.

Huge double-double in win
Sengun finished Sunday's 117-113 overtime victory over the Magic with 30 points (11-31 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 12 rebounds, eight assists and two blocks in 45 minutes.
Analyse
Sengun submitted his eighth double-double of the year, reaching the 30-point threshold for the first time since Opening Night in Oklahoma City. The star big man is without a triple-double so far, though he's come one assist shy of doing so on two occasions in 2025-26. Sengun is off to a phenomenal start overall, averaging 23.0 points, 10.3 rebounds, 7.4 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks in 12 games this season.

Comes close to triple-double
Sengun delivered 25 points (9-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, nine assists, three steals and three blocks over 36 minutes in Friday's 140-116 win over the Trail Blazers.
Analyse
Sengun finished just one assist away from recording a triple-double, something he's yet to achieve this season, although this was his sixth double-double over his last seven appearances. Furthermore, Sengun ranked either first or second among Rockets players in each of the five major categories. The star big man has been remarkably consistent as one of Houston's go-to weapons on offense so far -- despite the offseason addition of Kevin Durant.
