Turner tied the game with a two-run blast in the sixth inning before adding a single in the seventh. The long ball was his first of the season, and he's now hit safely in eight of 10 April contests with three multi-hit efforts during that stretch. Analyse
Turner has been batting leadoff every game this season for the Phillies and starting at shortstop. The two-time All-Star won the National League batting title last season but is off to a slower start in 2026 with a .279 average and only three RBI. As his power diminished last year, Turner was still a menace on the bases while ranking at the top of the sprint speed leaderboard, even while missing most of September with a hamstring injury.
