Homer streak at four games
Tucker went 2-for-3 with two walks, a double, a solo home run and two additional runs scored in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the A's.
Analyse
The 28-year-old slugger took Luis Severino deep in the third inning, giving Tucker a homer in four straight games. He's had a blistering start to his Cubs tenure, batting .353 (12-for-34) through eight contests with five doubles, four homers, nine runs and 11 RBI, and those free passes figure to get more frequent if teams decide it's not worth the risk of pitching to him while he's locked in.

Tucker went 4-for-7 with a home run, two doubles, four total runs and three total RBI in Monday's 18-3 win over the Athletics.

Tucker and Carson Kelly both had four hits for Chicago on a night when the team exploded for 18 runs. The star outfielder capped the outburst with a 417-foot solo shot in the ninth inning to notch his third straight game with a homer. Tucker has been everything the Cubs could have hoped for when they traded for him last December. Through seven games, Tucker is slashing .323/.400/.742 with three long balls, four doubles, six runs, 10 RBI and a stolen base.

Goes deep again Sunday
Tucker went 1-for-4 with a walk and a three-run home run in Sunday's 10-6 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Analyse
Tucker went deep for the second straight day, and after posting just a .451 OPS through his first four games of the season, the outfielder has quickly pushed that figure up to .940. Chicago's prized offseason acquisition should occupy a prime lineup spot most days, and if he can stay healthy, 30 home runs and 100 RBI are realistic targets for Tucker. He reached both figures on two occasions while with Houston.

Breaks through with three hits
Tucker went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and two RBI in a 4-3 victory against Arizona on Saturday.
Analyse
Tucker came into Saturday having gone just 2-for-16 over his first four contests as a Cub, but he put himself on the right track with Saturday's three-hit performance. His biggest knock was a two-run homer in the fifth inning that gave the Cubs a lead they never relinquished. Three of Tucker's five hits so far have gone for extra bases, and he has four RBI through five contests.
