Lined up to start in Detroit series
Harrison (knee/wrist) will make a start during next week's three-game series in Detroit that begins Tuesday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Harrison injured his knee and wrist while covering first base in his last outing Saturday against the Nationals. Coleman Crow is making a spot start Friday versus the Marlins in Harrison's place, but the left-hander will be ready to take his next turn. Harrison injured both his knee and left wrist during his last outing against the Nationals on Saturday. He's not expected to go on the injured list after additional imaging came back negative, but the Brewers look like they will give the 24-year-old southpaw additional time to recover. Robert Gasser is a candidate to be called up from Triple-A Nashville for a spot start this weekend. Harrison could be back in the Brewers' rotation next week on the road against the Tigers.

Harrison was dealing with some knee discomfort after tossing 4.1 innings and surrendering two runs on four hits and a walk while punching out four batters in his outing Saturday against Washington. The southpaw took a throw off his knee from teammate Gary Sanchez while trying to cover first base in the first inning, ultimately causing him to take a fall. The team had him undergo additional imaging, and he appears to have avoided any significant damage, though Harrison is still dealing with some soreness in his wrist from the wipeout. The 24-year-old's status will be worth keeping an eye on ahead of his scheduled next start Thursday against Toronto.

Harrison is getting an examination on his knee following his start Saturday versus Washington, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports. The left-hander took the loss to drop to 1-1, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out one batter over 4.1 frames.
Analyse
Harrison didn't have a great outing Saturday, and he was hit on the knee by a throw from first baseman Gary Sanchez while covering first base on a grounder in the first frame. Harrison obviously remained in the contest and later had an X-ray, per McCalvy. Nonetheless, manager Pat Murphy said after the game that both Harrison and Brandon Sproat, who also pitched Saturday, are getting postgame knee exams. Results of the testing should provide more insight about whether either hurler is in danger of missing any time.
