Analyse
Wilson was pulled from Tuesday's contest immediately after getting plunked, but he seems to have escaped with little more than a bruise on his hand after X-rays returned negative. The 23-year-old shortstop should be able to avoid a trip to the injured list, though the Athletics may still give him a day or two off to heal.

A 97-mph fastball connected with Wilson's arm during his first-inning plate appearance, immediately forcing the young shortstop out of the game. The A's will presumably take him in for imaging, and an update on his status should be available in the near future.
