Three hits, two steals in return
Lindor (toe) went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases in Saturday's 8-1 win over the Rockies.
Analyse
Lindor was out of the lineup due to a broken right pinkie toe over the previous two days. He came off the bench Friday and resumed a starting role at shortstop Saturday. Considering he swiped two bags in this contest, there should be minimal concern about his injured toe going forward. The shortstop has hit safely in 10 of his last 12 games, going 17-for-48 (.354) in that span. He's up to a .289/.360/.498 slash line with 14 home runs, 13 steals, 38 RBI and 42 runs scored over 63 contests this season.

Back in action
Lindor (toe) is leading off and playing shortstop Saturday against the Rockies.
Analyse
Lindor broke his right pinkie toe during Wednesday's matchup against the Dodgers. He was out of the lineup for two consecutive games as a result but was able to enter Friday's contest as a pinch hitter and delivered a two-run double. Lindor is now back in the lineup and in his customary leadoff spot.

Two-run double as pinch hitter
Lindor (toe) went 1-for-1 with a two-run double in Friday's 4-2 win over the Rockies.
Analyse
Lindor was held out of the Mets' starting lineup due to a broken right pinkie toe, but he was brought in as a pinch hitter for the ninth inning with the game tied 2-2. He didn't waste time making his presence felt, as he smacked the second pitch of the at-bat to right field to bring home Pete Alonso and Juan Soto before being replaced by Luisangel Acuna to run the bases. Despite the injury, Lindor could be back in the lineup at some point during the weekend series, per Anthony DiComo of MLB.com.

Out of lineup Friday
Lindor (toe) isn't part of the starting nine for Friday's game against the Rockies.
Analyse
Lindor is dealing with a broken right pinkie toe and isn't expected to require a stint on the injured list. However, he's not feeling well enough to start Friday, so Ronny Mauricio will fill in at shortstop. It's unknown when Lindor will be back in action, as it's entirely up to his pain tolerance. Per Anthony DiComo of MLB.com, manager Carlos Mendoza said Friday that he wouldn't be surprised if Lindor returned sometime this weekend.

Not expected to need IL stint
Lindor (toe) isn't viewed as a candidate for a trip to the injured list, Will Sammon of the Athletic reports.
Analyse
The All-Star shortstop was plunked by a Tony Gonsolin slider Wednesday that broke the pinkie toe on his right foot, and pain tolerance will determine how quickly Lindor can get back on the field. "I think it's going to be a nagging thing," he said before Thursday's game. "It's a bone; it's a broken bone. I think it takes six weeks for a bone to be fully healed." Luisangel Acuna got the start at shortstop Thursday and should hold down the starting job until Lindor is ready to return. Mets manager Carlos Mendoza indicated Lindor wasn't able to pinch hit Thursday, but it's not clear if that was simply a precaution, or if he will need multiple days off before getting back into the lineup.

Day-to-day with fractured toe
Lindor is considered day-to-day after being diagnosed with a fractured right pinkie toe, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
Analyse
Lindor suffered the injury when he was hit by a pitch in the first inning of Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Dodgers. He wasn't forced out of that game and will attempt to play through the fracture, although he is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest. The Mets will have Luisangel Acuna start at shortstop in the series finale in Los Angeles.

Not in lineup Thursday
Lindor is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Dodgers.
Analyse
As Anthony DiComo of MLB.com notes, Lindor looked to be in considerable pain after being hit in the foot by a pitch in Wednesday's 6-1 win in the top of the first inning, but he ended up staying in the game while finishing the night 0-for-4 with a run. The Mets haven't indicated that Lindor is still hurting a day later, but the veteran shortstop will nonetheless receive just his second day off of the season in any case. Luisangel Acuna will fill in for Lindor at shortstop.

Homers, swipes bag Monday
Lindor went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and a stolen base in a 4-2 extra-inning win against the Dodgers on Monday.
Analyse
Lindor slugged Dustin May's second pitch the game 417 feet to right field for a leadoff homer. He added a run-scoring single in the 10th inning to provide what ended up being the winning run. Lindor also swiped his 11th bag in the contest, marking the third time this season he's homered and stolen a base in the same game. With 14 long balls and 11 thefts on the campaign, Lindor is one of 12 major-leaguers to reach double digits in both categories so far.
