Crafting Clues Update
We are adjusting Crafting Clue balances and scaling in Football and NBA. These changes have no impact on gameplay, but they give us more flexibility to better reward Clues in the future.
🔄 Here’s what’s changing:
On Monday, October 13, your Clue inventory and the cost to use Clues will be rebalanced.
They’ll both be multiplied by 10 for Nationality and League Reveal Clues in Football, and Division and Position Reveal Clues in NBA, and by 5 for Keep Best Five Clues.
Examples:
- If you own 1 Nationality Reveal Clues, you’ll have 10 after the rebalance.
- In Limited, you’ll need 10 Nationality Reveal to use the Clue during a craft (instead of 1). In Rare, you’ll need 20 (instead of 2), 40 in Super Rare (instead of 4), and 80 in Unique (instead of 8).
- In Limited, you’ll need 10 Nationality Reveal to use the Clue during a craft (instead of 1). In Rare, you’ll need 20 (instead of 2), 40 in Super Rare (instead of 4), and 80 in Unique (instead of 8).
- If you own 1 Keep Best Five Clues, you’ll have 5 after the rebalance.
- You’ll need 5 Keep Best Five to use the Clue during a craft in Limited (instead of 1), 10 in Rare (instead of 2), 20 in Super Rare (instead of 4), and 40 in Unique (instead of 8).
- You’ll need 5 Keep Best Five to use the Clue during a craft in Limited (instead of 1), 10 in Rare (instead of 2), 20 in Super Rare (instead of 4), and 40 in Unique (instead of 8).
Following this change, the new maximum number of items you can hold per Clue is 100 for Nationality and League Reveal, and 50 for Keep Best Five.
Apart from the scaling adjustment, which only concerns your Clue inventory, the experience remains the same. The Essence amounts required to apply a Clue to your draw are unchanged: for example, you’ll still need 500 Essence to apply a Nationality Clue on a football Standard draw.
Please note: if you have 9 items of a Clue after this re-scale (and you need 10 to use them in Limited), you can still use Essence to apply the Clue. For a Nationality Clue in a Standard draw, you’ll use 500 Essence to unlock it, and your 9 items will remain untouched in your inventory.
This change is only a scale adaptation. It has no impact on gameplay and gives us more flexibility to reward Clues in our market promos, Wheel, and more.
⚙️ Scheduled Maintenance:
While this change occurs on Monday morning (October 13), the Crafting Machine will be unavailable for maintenance.
The NBA Wheel will also be unavailable for a few hours while Clue rewards are adapted.
