Towns registered 11 points (3-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists and one block across 27 minutes during Saturday's 104-93 win over New Orleans.

It was the 24th double-double of the season for Towns in only 26 games, and he's already blown past the 22 in 62 regular-season contests he managed in 2023-24, his final campaign with Minnesota. The 29-year-old center has a double-double in 17 straight appearances, and his 24 puts him second in the NBA behind Domantas Sabonis' 25.

Shines in win over Minnesota
Towns posted 32 points (10-12 FG, 5-5 3Pt, 7-9 FT), 20 rebounds, six assists and two steals in 38 minutes during Thursday's 133-107 win over Minnesota.
Análisis
Towns turned heads in this huge win over his former team. He became the second player in NBA history with at least 30 points, 20 rebounds, five assists and five three-pointers made in a game, something only DeMarcus Cousins had achieved in the past. Towns extended his double-double streak to 16 games, but he's taken his game to another level of late. The star big man is averaging 23.0 points, 18.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game since the beginning of December.

Towns finished with 22 points (7-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 22 rebounds, five assists and one block over 43 minutes during Sunday's 100-91 victory over the Magic.
Análisis
Towns pulled down a season-high 22 rebounds, marking his sixth career game with at least that many boards. Although his shooting has cooled off in December, he has made up for it by increasing his output in rebounds and blocks. Over his last six games, he's averaging 21.5 points, 17.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.8 blocks, 1.0 steals and 1.7 three-pointers.
