Strawther will enter the starting lineup in Thursday's game against Orlando.

With both Jamal Murray (knee) and Russell Westbrook (hamstring) on the shelf, Strawther will receive the starting nod for the first time in his two-year career. The 22-year-old has played significant minutes off the bench all season, and over his last five outings, he has averaged 10.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.8 three-pointers across 22.0 minutes per contest.

Análisis
Aaron Gordon (calf) and Russell Westbrook (hamstring) sat this game out, while Peyton Watson (knee) is expected to miss at least four weeks. That means Strawther will have a big opportunity in front of him to make some noise with the second unit. Through 50 games this season, he's averaging 9.4 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.5 three-pointers in 21.8 minutes.

Análisis
After scoring in single digits in four straight games while going just 3-for-15 (20.0 percent) from three-point range, Strawther found his rhythm Friday. The second-year wing has seen his court time take a hit during his shooting slump -- he hasn't played 20-plus minutes since Jan. 21 -- but overall, his role seems to be increasing. Over 17 appearances in January, Strawther averaged 10.1 points, 2.2 boards, 2.1 threes, 1.4 assists and 0.6 steals in 12.9 minutes a contest.
