Strong line off bench
Payton supplied eight points (4-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt), 12 rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals across 27 minutes during Thursday's 118-111 loss to the Cavaliers.
Análisis
After missing Wednesday's game against the Spurs for injury maintenance, Payton responded with a terrific line Thursday. It's worth noting that Stephen Curry (knee) is targeting a return Sunday against Houston, so there's a chance Payton's workload decreases moving forward.

Available for Thursday
Payton (knee) is available for Thursday's game against the Cavaliers.
Análisis
Payton will be back in action after sitting out the front end of this back-to-back set for maintenance. With so many Warriors injured, Payton could see a sizable workload Thursday.

Won't play Wednesday
Payton (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Spurs.
Análisis
Payton will miss the front end of the Warriors' back-to-back set due to right knee injury management, but he should be available for Thursday's contest against the Cavaliers. Will Richard, Seth Curry and Nate Williams are all candidates to see a bump in minutes in Payton's absence.

Questionable for Wednesday
Payton is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Spurs due to right knee injury management.
Análisis
Payton could be held out of the front end of this back-to-back set, which would leave more minutes available for guys like Will Richard, Nate Williams and Seth Curry. Payton would likely see increased playing time if he's cleared to suit up due to De'Anthony Melton (thumb) being unavailable.

Logs 15 points from bench
Payton supplied 16 points (7-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds and one assist in 21 minutes during Sunday's 116-93 loss to the Nuggets.
Análisis
Payton has been a valuable role player for the Warriors over the last few seasons mainly due to his defensive versatility, but he's put himself on the fantasy radar of late thanks primarily to his increased production on the offensive end while Golden State has navigated numerous injuries. The 33-year-old has hit double figures in the scoring column in 11 straight games, averaging 14.3 points during that stretch while converting at an incredible 69 percent rate from the field. He's also chipping in 5.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.6 steals per game over that stretch.
