Avdija has shaken off a questionable tag and will suit up for a 12th straight game. Over his last 11 appearances, Avdija has averaged 16.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.2 steals in 31.0 minutes per game. However, over his last two appearances, Avdija has totaled only 15 points, eight boards and one dime in 31 minutes while committing seven turnovers.

Dealing with sprained right hand
Avdija (hand) is questionable to play Saturday against the Timberwolves.
Análisis
Avdija played just 18 minutes in Thursday's 108-102 win over the Trail Blazers and finished with nine points and four rebounds. Part of that may have been due to his hand injury, which puts him in jeopardy of missing Saturday's contest. Shaedon Sharpe could be inserted into the Trail Blazers' starting lineup if Avdija is not cleared to play.

Avdija provided six points (2-9 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and one assist in 23 minutes during Tuesday's 112-89 victory over Indiana.
Análisis
This was a poor showing for Avdija in what was arguably his worst game of the season. Fantasy managers should cut him some slack, however, as he's been solid over his last 10 appearances with 17.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 three-pointers on 49.1 percent shooting from the field.

Posts 24 points in victory
Avdija notched 24 points (8-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and one steal in 43 minutes before fouling out of Monday's 121-119 overtime victory over the Suns.
Análisis
Avdija has been a driving force behind Portland's improvement in recent weeks, although his heightened usage has cut into playing time for Shaedon Sharpe, who's had a bumpy ride since losing the starting gig. Although they are only 21-29, the team's playoff hopes are far from over based on the new offensive scheme which has helped them win eight of the past nine games. More standout games from Avdija could help close the gap quickly.
