Modest production continues
Hunter notched 12 points (4-9 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one assist across 28 minutes during Wednesday's 127-111 loss to Chicago.
Análisis
Hunter shifted to the bench Wednesday, a move that sounds as though it is going to hold, at least for the foreseeable future. After a strong start to the season, it appears as though the coaching staff is going in a different direction. In 13 appearances over the past month, Hunter is averaging 12.9 points and 1.9 three-pointers in 28.1 minutes per game, leaving him well outside the top-200 players in standard formats.

To have bench role moving forward
Hunter will come off the bench Wednesday against Chicago and for the foreseeable future, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Análisis
The Cavs have lost six of their previous nine games, and they're shaking up the starting five amid the cold spell. That means Hunter will come off the bench for the first time all season, with Jaylon Tyson stepping into the starting role. Hunter will continue to come off the bench going forward.

Struggles with shot Friday
Hunter registered 15 points (4-14 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and four rebounds in 27 minutes during Friday's 130-126 victory over the Wizards.
Análisis
Hunter reached the 15-point mark for the first time in December, but he continues to struggle with his shot. The veteran forward plays a secondary role in the Cavaliers' offensive scheme, but his ability to knock down outside shots certainly opens up possibilities for others. Over five games in December, Hunter is averaging 11.0 points per game while shooting 35.3 percent from the floor and a mere 22.2 percent from three-point range.
