Double-double from bench Monday
Sharpe logged 14 points (4-7 FG, 6-6 FT), 12 rebounds and one block over 23 minutes off the bench during Monday's 113-105 loss to the Mavericks.
Análisis
It was the fifth-year center's second double-double of the season, with the other coming Oct. 27. Sharpe has been busy on the defensive end in January, and over the last six games (three starts), he's averaging 10.7 points, 9.3 boards, 2.7 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.8 blocks in 25.5 minutes while shooting 55.6 percent from the floor.

Shines off bench
Sharpe totaled eight points (4-7 FG), 13 rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals in 21 minutes during Sunday's 103-98 loss to the Grizzlies.
Análisis
Although Nic Claxton saw more minutes, Sharpe was far more effective off the bench for Brooklyn. It's worth mentioning that Claxton has been linked to moves elsewhere ahead of the trade deadline, and Sharpe's elevated play may make a transaction more likely.

Reverting back to bench
Sharpe is coming off the bench in Friday's game against the Clippers, Sharif Phillips-Keaton of USA Today reports.
Análisis
The Nets have deployed Sharpe as a starter for three consecutive games, though the club plans to have Nic Claxton return to his usual role in the first unit Friday. Sharpe has averaged 8.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.2 steals in 17.1 minutes per tilt across his last 10 games off the bench, so he should be able to maintain a decent level of fantasy value from the second unit.
