Closes game again Thursday
Jenkins accumulated 14 points (6-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt), six rebounds and four assists in 26 minutes during Thursday's 107-97 win over the Cavaliers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Análisis
Despite continuing to come off the bench, Jenkins has now logged at least 26 minutes in three straight games, running with the closers in both games against the Cavaliers. Although Cleveland typically rolls with a double-big lineup, Jenkins has increased both his playing time and production, with Detroit seemingly taking the initiative when it comes to dictating the flow of the game.

Increased role continues in win
Jenkins totaled 12 points (5-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and four steals across 29 minutes during Tuesday's 111-101 win over the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Análisis
Jenkins logged at least 28 minutes for the second straight game, as Detroit opted to go with a smaller lineup in Game 1 against Cleveland. After a quiet start to the postseason, Jenkins has stepped up in the past two games, averaging 14.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.0 three-pointers. It appears that he has replaced Isaiah Stewart as the preferred first option off the bench, providing the team with another dynamic scoring option. With that said, should Cleveland's size advantage prove an issue in Game 2, we could see Stewart back in his traditional role, with Jenkins shifting to more of a depth role.

Pops for 16 points in Game 7 win
Jenkins closed Sunday's 116-94 victory over the Magic in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with 16 points (5-8 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, five assists and one block over 29 minutes.
Análisis
Jenkins had easily his best game of the postseason, scoring 16 points in 29 minutes and closing the game over Ausar Thompson. Although he has been a consistent part of the rotation, Jenkins has mostly served as a backup to Cade Cunningham. However, he played alongside Cunningham in Sunday's win, providing the team with an additional perimeter threat. Detroit will now face Cleveland in the second round in what figures to be another tight matchup.
