Out at least one week
The Jazz announced Tuesday that Sexton will be re-evaluated in one week after spraining his left ankle during the first quarter of Monday's 112-111 loss to the Pacers.
Análisis
Sexton played just three minutes Monday before exiting the game with the injury. Though X-rays ruled out any structural damage to his ankle, Sexton's sprain is considered significant enough to keep him out for at least a few games and possibly through the All-Star break. Keyonte George started the second half of Monday's game in Sexton's stead and could see elevated minutes during the latter's absence along with Isaiah Collier and Jordan Clarkson.

Sexton led the Jazz in scoring and assists Saturday and finished as the game's third-leading scorer behind Franz Wagner (37) and Cole Anthony (23). Sexton has scored at least 20 points in 11 of his last 14 games, and over that span, he has averaged 21.6 points, 5.1 assists and 3.6 rebounds over 30.7 minutes per contest while shooting 39.4 percent from three on 5.1 3PA/G.

Análisis
The 26-year-old finished as the club's second-leading scorer behind Keyonte George (23 points), albeit in a blowout loss. Sexton has been solid through 13 appearances in January, during which he has averaged 21.5 points, 4.8 assists and 3.5 rebounds in 30.8 minutes per contest. With the rebuilding Jazz positioned to be sellers at the Feb. 6 trade deadline, the seventh-year pro could be a candidate to be moved with the club likely to rely more heavily on its young core.
