Another double-double Saturday
Portis accumulated 17 points (7-16 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and two steals across 24 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 112-103 win over Chicago.
Análisis
With Giannis Antetokounmpo making his return from a calf strain, Portis shifted back to the second unit but remained productive, recording his fifth double-double of the season, all of which have come in the last seven games. Over that stretch, the veteran forward is averaging 17.6 points, 9.7 boards, 2.1 threes, 1.3 steals and 1.1 assists while shooting 53.7 percent from the floor and an impressive 50.0 percent (15-for-30) from beyond the arc.

Shifts back to bench
Portis isn't part of the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Chicago.
Análisis
Portis had started back-to-back games, but he'll return to the second unit now that Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) is available. The Bucks will start Kevin Porter, Ryan Rollins, AJ Green, Antetokounmpo and Myles Turner. Portis is averaging 12.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game this season.

Records double-double
Portis provided 15 points (7-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt), 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals in 35 minutes during Friday's 125-104 loss to Memphis.
Análisis
Portis was efficient from the field and active on the glass en route to his fourth double-double of the season. It's fair to say the veteran forward is going through his most prolific stretch of the campaign, as Portis has racked up all four of his double-doubles in his last six outings. He's averaging 16.4 points and 9.4 rebounds per game in his five starts this season.

Double-doubles in loss
Portis amassed 16 points (7-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt), 11 rebounds, one assist and one steal over 39 minutes during Sunday's 103-100 loss to the Timberwolves.
Análisis
Portis entered the starting lineup Sunday following a handful of strong outings, and he responded by posting his third double-double in his last four games. He wasn't quite as efficient from the field as he had been to begin the month (52.3 percent over seven appearances), but he still managed to provide a solid scoring boost. Whether he remains in the starting lineup or shifts back to the bench, Portis should continue to see high usage while the Bucks are without the services of Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf).
