Solid effort despite loss
Thompson produced 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-6 FT), three rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal over 37 minutes during Thursday's 127-114 loss to the Timberwolves.

Thompson had a strong all-around showing in the loss to the Nets on Tuesday, even if his scoring figures weren't very high, and he delivered another stat-filling performance in Thursday's loss. Thompson has been a stud in fantasy due to his ability to fill the box score regularly. Over his last 10 appearances, Thompson has averaged 17.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 2.1 steals and 1.4 blocks per game while shooting 50.8 percent from the floor.

Records triple-double in loss
Thompson posted 25 points (9-17 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 11 rebounds, 11 assists, one block and two steals in 37 minutes during Monday's 124-118 loss to the Knicks.
Análisis
Thompson's breakout season continued as he racked up his third career triple-double. He's been on a heater for Houston, posting 19.3 points, 9.8 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.2 blocks and 2.0 steals on 51.6 percent shooting over his last nine games. With Fred VanVleet (ankle) considered week-to-week, Thompson's heavy usage is likely to continue.

Análisis
Thompson struggled with his shot Saturday, but he managed to contribute in other ways as he led both teams in rebounding and assists. Since entering the Rockets' starting lineup permanently Jan. 5, Thompson has averaged 17.8 points on 52.7 percent shooting, 10.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.1 steals and 1.4 blocks over 38.8 minutes per game.
