Two more XBH in Monday's win
Taylor went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple and a run scored in Monday's win over the Diamondbacks.
Análisis
Getting the start in center field for the sixth time in the last nine games, Taylor remained locked in at the plate. During that stretch, the 31-year-old is batting an eye-popping .480 (12-for-25) with three doubles, a triple, a homer, a steal, three RBI and six runs while typically hitting ninth in the order. Jeff McNeil is mixing in occasionally in center, but as long as Taylor is delivering at the plate, his superior glove should earn him the bulk of the playing time at the position.

Out for first game of twin bill
Taylor is out of the lineup for first game of Sunday's doubleheader in St. Louis.
Análisis
Since he returned from the injured list April 24, Jeff McNeil has represented Taylor's primary competition for playing time in center field, but McNeil will head back to his familiar spot at second base in the first game of the day while Jose Azocar gets the nod in center. Taylor owns a pedestrian .601 OPS on the season, but he's been playing well of late, going 7-for-15 with three extra-base knocks over his last five games. The Mets should continue to keep at least semi-regular playing time open for Taylor while he's swinging a hot bat.

Launches first long ball
Taylor went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Monday's loss to the Diamondbacks.
Análisis
Taylor batted out of the No. 9 spot in the lineup and collected three of New York's seven hits, with one of his knocks being a solo homer in the ninth inning. That long ball was his first of the campaign and came one game after Taylor hit a double to snap a seven-game stretch with no extra-base hits. Taylor went hitless over a span of 14 at-bats between April 22 and April 27 but has gone 6-for-10 with three RBI in three games since.
